Simone is a certified coach and freelance photographer based in the North-East of Germany and known for her thoughtful, poetic imagery playing with light and shadow.
Her work focuses on portraits, capturing a single moment in everyday life, but also telling stories of craftsmanship and our connection with nature.
She has written and photographed several books such as Stay for Breakfast (gestalten), Heimat – eine Reise ein Gefühl (Knesebeck).
The heart of Simone’s work is photography for editorials and book projects, developing a narrative in close interaction with her customers.
Her client list includes: Laine Publishing, Condé Nast Traveller, KPM Magazin, Kein & Aber Verlag, Suhrkamp Verlag, ocelot – not another bookstore, Sarah Wiener Gruppe, Gut Kerkow, Big Window Productions, sodasan, Ottmanngut – Suite and Breakfast.
Besides her work Simone is restoring a listed farm in a small village somewhere between Hamburg and Berlin.
